Earn prizes by reading your favorites! This program is designed for adults age 18 & up to encourage life-long reading habits. 

Every adult participant receives a prize for every two books read (up to 4 prizes). You will be notified when you have earned a prize to be picked up at the public library's Information Services desk.

All formats count towards your books. Audio & ebooks, regular and large print, etc. Books can be from the public library, your own library, or borrowed from a friend. It all counts!

This program is for teens going into 6th-12th grades.  Adventure begins at your library! Start reading and begin your adventure.

You will receive a prize for registering and every 250 minutes you log, May 30th through July 31st, up to 1,000 minutes.  All book formats count. Yes, even audio books and graphic novels. Any book counts,  they do not have to be library books.

Free audio and ebooks are available through the library's Libby and Hoopla apps with your library card.

Once you have earned 1,000 points you will have completed the program and will receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

Welcome to Read By the Slice, a reading program for ages 5-18 designed to give the best kind of rewards -- Pizza!

For every 800 minutes, your child earns a free pizza coupon to be picked up at the K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library and redeemed at Dempsey's, 1023 S. Main St. Aberdeen, SD.
