This book illuminated the origin of several key concepts I was taught in Catholic church. After finishing reading it, I have a greater understanding of who benefited and continues to benefit from certain "truths" in the Nicene Creed and how they came to be. I now understand who the stakeholders were in creating the "universal" church and that there were diverse interpretations of Jesus' teachings that were ordered to be destroyed. I wish I would have known sooner that my questions and differing opinions about Jesus' purpose (aka heretical views) were present, openly discussed, and embraced by many Christian sects centuries ago. Despite Beyond Belief beyond written by a Harvard graduate who meticulously researched the Genesis of the Christian movement, this book was digestible, enlightening, and enjoyable for me. I highly recommend reading it if you're searching for answers.

This was a quick novella length story about a girl who meets two guys at a bar and goes home with them for a night. It's super steamy and the spice is amazing. The next morning Meg wakes up and overhears a conversation between Theo and galen that takes her by surprise. Will one night be all they have? Or will Theo make it more?
