1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

This program is designed to help children read 1,000 books before they enter kindergarten and encourage life-long reading habits.

Earn a point for every book you have read or read to. For every 250 books, you receive a prize!

Once you've earned 1000 points you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

All books from the library and from home count for your prize points. Just a reminder to check out our Libby and Hoopla apps for free ebooks.

Parents: Please register yourself first in the Create Parent Account tab and then register your children as readers under that account. You can also sign up for the Adult Reading Challenges!

Adult Color Our World

This program is designed for adults to encourage life-long reading habits. Reading is important for adults as it boosts creativity and empathy, reduces stress, enhancing concentration, and increases your knowledge on diverse topics. AND it makes you a great dinner guest! Enjoy your summer and be rewarded with prizes such as gift cards, library merch, and more.

Whether you choose to log books or minutes this summer, enjoy taking time for yourself.
